Bridgeless Rectifier Control of Wireless Power Transfer to Improve Efficiency

In this paper, a control method of bridgeless rectifier for wireless power transfer (WPT) system that can improve the efficiency and operate stably by reducing the switching loss is proposed. In addition, in order to control effectively, the voltage gain equation of the bridgeless rectifier according to the control method is proposed. Using the proposed method, the efficiency of the system can be improved by 3.5% compared with the conventional method by reducing the switching loss. In order to verify the proposed method, loss analysis, simulation and experimental results are presented.
