Clinical observation of progesterone in treatment of urolithiasis

Objective To observe the clinical curative effect of progesterone in treatment of urolithiasis.Methods 40 cases of patients with urolithiasis intramuscular progesterone injection,each 20 mg,twice a day,5 days for a course of treatment,application of 1 to 3 courses.Results Among 40 patients,33 patients recovered,5 cases ameliorated,2 cases ineffective,the recovery rate was 82.5%,the total effective rate was 95.0%.Conclusion The application of progesterone in patients with urolithiasis have better therapeutic effects.
