Research on Vertex Kernel Characteristic of Scientific Collaboration Networks

The collaboration networks can be found everywhere in real world.In this paper,we propose a typical kernel characteristic aiming at collaboration networks,of which the act-size is fixed.We prove that the degree distribution of the act-networks obeys power-law.In addition,the topological structure of the network is ana- lyzed utilizing the theories and methodology of complex networks.We give a search algorithm for kernel charac- teristic set,thus providing a new perspective on investigating collaboration networks.
