Silylated iminophosphonates: Novel reactive synthons for the preparation of fluorinated aminophosphonates and aminophosphonic acids

•Effective new methodology for the synthesis of fluorinated aminophosphonic acids.•Methodology was based on the use of N,O-silylated iminophosphonates.•The latter are novel synthons for the preparation of aminophosphonic acids.•Previously non-accessible α-fluoroalkyl-α-hetaryl aminophosphonic acids were prepared.
