Abstract
Dopamine function and reward processing are highly interrelated and involve common brain areas that mainly belong to the mesocorticolimbic pathways. Impairments of both systems have been involved in numerous psychiatric disorders. However, wether alterations in the dopamine system underlie altered reward processing across psychopathologies remains unknown.
