•Mesoarchean TTG-type magmatism at 2.96–3.00Ga.•Coeval occurrence of low- and high-pressure TTGs.•Neoarchean granitic magmatism at 2.76Ga records the transition from TTGs to granites.•The granitic magmatism is most likely a result of reworking of a Mesoarchean TTG crust.
