The programmable shunt-system Codman Medos Hakim: A clinical observation study and review of literature.

•Codman Medos Hakim valve can be savely used in idiopathic NPH, or due to SAH and other etiology.•Patients showed post-operative clinical improvement with an initial pressure level of 120mmH2O.•Clinical deterioration was associated with an increase in ventricular size.
