Abstract
Magnified observation of detailed mucosal structure and blood vessels using NBI system has become very popular in recent years. To introduce the NBI system will require time and cost, however. On the other hand, monochrome mode which is one of the endoscopic observation functions has been concomitant originally in LUCERA system (CV-260, Olympus co., Tokyo), and a clear image can be obtained for vascular lesions. The aim of this study is to evaluate the usefulness of endoscopic observation method using monochrome mode for vascular lesions compared with current NBI system.
