Abstract
Using the dynamical variational method fully differential cross sections have been calculated for electron-impact ionization of the hydrogen atom. The study shows that inclusion of the effective charge seen by the scattered electron into the calculation noticeably improves agreement between theory and experiment, especially in the region of a "binary peak".
