A Potter'S Assemblage From Tla Kll Pueblo, Arizona

Sealed below the floor of a remodeled pueblo room lies a remarkable potters assemblage that helps to explain the diversity of locally produced ceramics and their significance for understanding the craft economy of the late eleventh and early twelfth century Mogollon Rim region. This paper describes an assemblage from the 1940 and 1941 excavations at Tla Kii Pueblo and provides preliminary compositional information.
