Saucerneol F inhibits tumor necrosis factor-α and IL-6 production by suppressing Fyn-mediated pathways in FcεRI-mediated mast cells

•We evaluated the effect of saucerneol F (SF) on cytokine production in activated mast cells.•SF inhibited TNF-α and IL-6 production by suppressing their mRNA expressions.•Cytokine expressions were suppressed due to the inhibition of the AP-1, NF-κB, and STAT-5 pathways.•SF inhibited these transcriptional factors by inhibiting Fyn phosphorylation.
