Theoretical Calculation of Mean Opacity of Gold Mixtures

A screened hydrogenic model with l splitting is proposed to calculate the the Rosseland mean opacities for some high-Z pure elements of Au、Ho、Gd、Sm、Nd、Sn、Ag,and mixtures of Au at high temperature (T=200～300eV) and high density(ρ=1g·cm~(-3)).The results are in good agreement with the calculations of DCA/UTA and STA models.
