摘要

We achieved about a 20% nuclear polarization of La-139 in a Nd3+:LaAlO3 crystal, which enables us to test the time reversal invariance in low-energy neutron reactions. We have found that thermal contact between the La-139 nuclear spin system and the Nd3+ spin-spin interaction system played an essential role in obtaining a large La-139 polarization.
