DEVELOPMENT OF AN INTERDISCIPLINARY DATA ACQUISITION AND CONTROL LABORATORY

This paper describes the development of a new Data Acquisition and Control Laboratory that offers several capabilities, including internet-based experimentation, process variable measurements and analysis, control system modeling and design, signal and image processing, and sensor technology applications.This paper presents the major components of the laboratory, discusses the interdisciplinary activities, and describes the experiments used in a recently taught course.
