Cloud Computing Based Customer Side Short-term Load Prediction Technology

With the development of smart grid, interactions between power grid and users are increasing significantly. It is helpful to obtain much important information and provide more opportunities for the development of smart grid. This paper studies the short-term load prediction technology based on the cloud computing technology for smart grid, which uses the swarm intelligence to improve the accuracy of the short-term load prediction. Moreover, the proposed method also uses the Map/Reduce technology and obtains high efficiency and scalability.
