Study of correlation of aflatoxin B_1 exposure and the food habits in healthy male people in Nanning of Guangxi Province

Objective To investigate the relevance of aflatoxin B1 exposure and the food habits in healthy male people who lived in aflatoxin B1 High-exposure area.Methods The male residents lived Nanning of Guangxi Province were surveyed about their eating habits and screened AFB1-albumin adducts(AAA)levels by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.Results AAA l evel was significantly higher(P0.05)in the people whose food habits included eating rice saved time for more than 30 days,eating bulk rice,eating peanut oil in bulk,regularly dining out,eating mainly to animal food and drinking.Conclusions Afla-toxin B1 exposure were related with the food habits and life style.The risk factors about aflatoxin B1 exposure included rice save time,consumption of bulk rice,consumption of bulk peanut oil,regularly dining out,eating mainly to animal food and drinking.
