摘要
The selective catalytic reduction of nitric oxide with carbon monoxide (CO-SCR) represents a promising technology for controlling nitrogen oxides (NOx) emissions, enabling synchronous removal of both NO and carbon monoxide (CO) from flue gas in industrial furnaces. Among the alternative catalysts for noble metals, Cu-based and Ce-based metal oxides exhibit good catalytic activity and stability for NO reduction by CO. However, the negative effect of O2 remains a major obstacle to application in stationary source denitrification processes. Therefore, based on summarizing the reaction mechanism and pathway of CO + NO reaction on non-noble metals, this paper illustrates the effects of different interactions between Cu and Ce on the catalytic performance in binary and multimetallic catalysts. In addition, upon analyzing the negative effects of flue gas components (O2, SO2, and H2O) on catalyst performance, corresponding anti-deactivation measures were summarized for rare earth metals, supports, and transition metals. This paper aims to provide a theoretical reference for the design of CO-SCR catalyst and the application of fixed source denitration technology.
