摘要
In most captive model tests, hydrodynamic components associated with hull motions and actuation of control planes have been independently modeled owing to difficulties in continuously changing control plane angles for each hull motion. However, in real-time maritime vehicles, the simultaneous occurrence of translational or rotational hull motion and deflection of control planes are a common phenomenon. During those motions, control planes are exposed to crossflow, causing the effective incidence angle to differ from that at an even-keel. Therefore, it is necessary to construct hydrodynamic models that can consider these effects. This study aimed to experimentally investigate interaction hydrodynamic forces between a hull and control planes during hull operations. To this end, a BB2 generic submarine with a scale ratio of 35.1 is used. By conducting a series of experiments at Pusan National University towing tank, benchmark database and interaction hydrodynamic coefficients are obtained for the first time. To validate the constructed hydrodynamic model, five open-loop maneuvering simulations are performed under identical conditions of free-running experiments. Maneuvering performances incorporating interactions between a hull and control planes are evaluated through comparison with a basic model.
