Critical Wind Speed for Galloping of Crescent-Shaped Icing Conductors

摘要
Critical wind speed is a key factor in performing ice-covered conductor gallop stability. Accurately predicting the critical wind speed of ice-covered transmission lines helps to prevent the occurrence of transmission line galloping. Adopting quasi-constant theory, comprehensively considering the change rule of static aerodynamic coefficients of ice-covered transmission line under different angles and different Reynolds numbers, the accurate solution method of obtaining critical wind speed is proposed. Through specific case studies show that the method proposed in this paper is reliable and accurate.
