An Improved DC Power Flow Algorithm for Assisting Convergence Enhancement

With the increasing development of the power system and the increasingly complex operation methods, there are more cases of non convergence in AC power flow calculation. To assist staff in adjusting the convergence of power flow methods, this paper proposes an improved DC power flow algorithm that considers voltage and reactive power, based on the classic DC power flow algorithm and considering the reactive power equation. It can achieve approximate estimation of bus voltage amplitude and reactive power flow, while maintaining the linearity and speed of the DC power flow algorithm. The simulation verification of the IEEE300 bus system shows that the proposed improved DC power flow algorithm can accurately and quickly estimate the bus voltage amplitude and reactive power flow in the system, and can serve as an auxiliary reference for improving convergence.
