Design and Fabricate of Terahertz Groove Gap Waveguide Filter

摘要
In this work, a vertical transition structure for a groove gap waveguide (GGW) to a WR5 waveguide is designed. The GGW filter is based on cavity structure working at the center frequency of 204 GHz with a minimum insertion loss of 1.26dB, and a measured fractional bandwidth of 2.45%. The device has important applications, such as terahertz communication systems, especially in high-integration terahertz transmission lines and antenna arrays.
