摘要
This paper proposes an availability model for an edge-based sensor network utilized for critical object monitoring. The model is designed to ensure that the network remains effective, efficient, and available despite changes in network topology, node failures, and other disruptive events. The study investigates various availability metrics such as reliability, maintainability, and availability, and how they can be used to evaluate the performance of the network. Additionally, the paper presents a case study of the model’s performance to monitor a critical object in real-time. The results indicate that the proposed model offers improved network availability and reliability, making it a viable option for critical object monitoring applications.
