A comparative analysis of HB based converters for PV systems

摘要
This work comparative analysis of transformerless power converters based on the conventional full-bridge converter is presented. The comparison is aimed at Transformerless converters to mitigate leakage ground currents in PV systems. The converters compared in this paper are the H5, HERIC, and DD-Buck converters. A comparative analysis is presented between the converters to evaluate performance indices. The main performance indices analyzed in this work are efficiency, Total Harmonic Distortion in current and voltage, and Ground Leakage Currents. Finally, experimental results are performed using a 1 kW academic prototype to evaluate the performance of the DD-Buck in a transform-less inverter application.
