摘要

•A framework is proposed to analyze compound floods with multiple driving factors.•Local rainfall has a larger impact on the flooding levels of the GBA, China.•Flooding area is about 50 km2 and 1.3 m flooded depth for the worst scenario.•Findings have important implications to GBA’s flooding control and management.
