摘要
6G will require extremely high-speed communication data rates exceeding 100 Gbps using sub-terahertz (THz) bands. Sub-THz bands have extremely short wavelengths and are affected by objects and people surrounding mobile stations. This can result in sparser sub-THz channel properties due to weak diffraction and time non-stationarity. Therefore, we have developed a sub-THz Massive MIMO channel sounder that implements a beamforming technique using 896 antenna elements to measure channel properties in sub-THz bands. This channel sounder offers a high resolution of the time-spatial channel and can analyze the number of arriving paths with lower power in real time. In this paper, we clarify the system configuration and present the verification results of its performance in an anechoic chamber.
