摘要

This paper describes the preparation and testing result of a persistent current system including persistent current switch (PCS), REBCO pancake coil, and superconducting joints. The persistent current excited up to 360 A at 30 K. The calculated current decay and joint resistance of PCS system were 5.7 A/h and 9.3×10 ^-8 Ω, respectively. As current decay is proportional to inductance, the PCS can be used in an HTS motor with inductance of more than 10 H.
