Dispersive solid phase extraction of tacrolimus from biological samples using curcumin and iron-based metal organic frameworks nanocomposite followed by LC-MS/MS determination

•A curcumin and iron-based metal organic nanocomposite were prepared and characterized.•The prepared nanocomposite was used in DSPE method.•The developed method was used for extraction of tacrolimus from biological samples.•Greenness, low cost, and effective sample preparation are advantages of the method.
