An Assessment Method for Vulnerable Lines of Power System with Offshore Wind Power Considering Typhoon Effects

Frequent typhoons bring new challenges to the safe and reliable operation of the power system. Aiming at the problem of vulnerable line assessment of offshore wind power system under typhoon weather scenarios, a vulnerable line assessment method considering the risk propagation of offshore wind power system under the influence of typhoon is proposed. Firstly, based on typhoon data, power system topology and geographical parameters, the typhoon scenario is constructed, and the uncertainty of offshore wind power output is depicted by using the interval number, and a regional power flow model considering wind power access is established. Secondly, based on the dynamic Bayesian network (DBN), a time-varying risk propagation model of the power system is established according to the uncertainty of wind power output and the power flow transfer caused by line faults Finally, the real-time comprehensive vulnerability interval index of line is defined by considering the line fault and system risk propagation in typhoon scenario.and the assessment of vulnerable lines in power system with offshore wind power under typhoon scenario is realized. The simulation results of IEEE-RST79 verify the effectiveness of the proposed model and method.
