This brief presents a new analysis and design technique of a robust sensorless peak current-mode controlled flyback converter (PCMC-FC). It is shown that the ideal PCMC-FC is under the class of slow-fast system and that can be transformed into a reduced-order system using the notion of time-scale decomposition. Based on this a dynamical controller is designed and the robustness performance of uncertain PCMC-FC is analyzed using the concepts of Bellman-Gronwall's lemma. Finally, performances are experimentally verified and compared with classical sensor-based PCMC-FC operating in continuous conduction mode (CCM).
