Govindarajulu’s major research interests are in survival analysis and frailty models, causal inference, machine learning, smoothing methods, genetic epidemiology, and non-parametrics. Her areas of medical expertise are in cardiology, allergy and immunology, infectious disease (HIV), radiology, translational research, and—most recently—psychiatry. She has also been involved in health disparities research.
