Two-Layer Optimal Sizing for Electric-Thermal-Hydrogen Integrated Energy Systems Considering Multiple Types of Hydrogen Equipment

The necessity for adjusting the energy structure and the severity of the global energy crisis have brought hydrogen energy into the spotlight of international research. In order to better integrate and optimize the energy of the integrated energy system (IES) with the incorporation of hydrogen energy, a two-layer programming structure is proposed for the IES that takes into account multi types of hydrogen equipment. It is comprised of both the upper-level capacity configuration model and the lower-level optimal operating model. Based on this, the upper and lower models are respectively solved using the enhanced particle swarm optimization algorithm and the Gurobi solver. The simulation results demonstrate the viability of the proposed two-layer programming model of the integrated electric-thermal-hydrogen energy system which takes into account multi types of hydrogen equipment.
