Microstrip line Loaded High Dielectric Constant Slab phase shifter using Piezo- Bender Actuation

摘要
In this paper, the simulation and measurement results of ka-band microstrip line (MSL) loaded high dielectric constant slab phase shifter is presented. The phase shifting states are controlled by changing the gap between dielectric slab and MSL by using a piezo bender actuation mechanism. The measured result shows a phase shifting range of more than 360° over 1 GHz bandwidth, with average insertion loss less than 3.65 dB and loss variation less than 1.2 dB is achieved.
