摘要
Power quality has become more important due to the increasing expansion of special consumers, increasing demand, and its effect on network voltage. The role of converters with AC output is effective in improving power quality and constructing proper regulation. In this paper, a new bidirectional ac-ac PWM converter is presented, which has reduced in sizes and weight due to the use of a high-frequency transformer. In order to series compensation, two structures with different gain and common ground changes have been presented, which can compensate up and down voltage in a wide range. Other advantages include active and controllable structure, input and output isolation, the possibility of removing harmonics and improving voltage regulation. The analysis of the converter and the series regulator in two structures have been evaluated. To validate the converter and two structures of the series regulator has been simulated in Matlab/Simulink as a closed loop structures. The proper performance of the converter and the presented structures have evaluated and confirmed for the down and up input voltage modes.
