摘要
•Candida auris (CA) is an organism that has spread globally over the last decade.•No effective strategies are known to decrease the burden of CA skin decolonization.•An isotonic hypochlorite solution (IHS) was added to chlorhexidine gluconate bathing.•Addition of an IHS to bathing protocols did not lead to skin decolonization of CA.•Heightened focus on process improvements decreased transmission.
