摘要
•PVB treatment either before or after LPS stimulation attenuated IL-1β and TNF-α expression in murine neutrophils.•PVB inhibited the phosphorylation of ERK, JNK, and IκBα in LPS-stimulated murine neutrophils.•PVB reduced ROS levels via regulation of NADPH oxidase 2 (NOX2) activity.•PVB attenuated IL-1β, TNF-α, IL-6, CXCL1 production in both LPS-stimulated LDNs and NDNs isolated from septic patients.
