•A comprehensive numeric model of a condensation-driven dilution refrigerator is established.•Systematical simulations are carried out to analyze the system performances.•T-S and P-T figures of the cold cycle at typical operating conditions are given.•The influence of the key operating parameters such as 3He flowrate are investigated.
