A Time Synchronization Method Based on Clustering Algorithm for Industrial Time-Sensitive Networks

The Industrial Internet communication system based on time-sensitive networks has the characteristics of high speed and real-time, in which the fundamental basis for data communication or network scheduling of any network node is its internal clock. In order to minimize errors between internal clocks, precise time synchronization needs to be performed. To solve the load imbalance problem caused by time synchronization in large-scale metropolitan area time-sensitive networks, this paper proposes a time synchronization method based on clustering algorithm. Simulation shows that the proposed method can effectively balance the network load with promising performances.
