摘要
In atheromatous peripheral arterial occlusive disease (PAD), stenosing or occlusive lesions of the internal iliac artery (IIA) may cause proximal claudication that is difficult to recognize. Isolated lesions of the IIA are uncommon and, when detected, can be treated endovascularly (TLA). The purpose of our study was to evaluate the results of these procedures. Primary outcome was the 1- and 2-year primary patency. Secondary outcome was clinical improvement as measured by Maximum Walking Distance (MWD).
