摘要
The mass attenuation coefficient $({\mu/\rho})$ of materials plays an important role as a basic parameter in various fields involving ionizing radiation. Monochromatic X-ray sources with adjustable energy and X-ray detectors with excellent performance have great advantages in accurately measuring the ${\mu/\rho}$ of material. Experimental measurements of the ${\mu/\rho \mathrm{s}}$ of Zr, Ag, and Cd metallic materials in the X-ray energy region of 10 keV-40 $\mathbf{keV}$ were performed using a monochromatic X-ray radiation device, and simulated values at the same energies were obtained using Monte Carlo simulations, and both were compared with the NIST database for analysis. The results show that the experimental values of Zr, Ag and Cd based on the monochromatic X-ray are in good agreement with the Monte Carlo simulation values. Both of them are consistent with NIST ${\mu/\rho}$ curve.
