Cover Feature: A Short‐Cut to Substituted Fused Pyrrolo[2,1‐c][1,4]oxazines: A Hybrid Theoretical and Experimental Study (Asian J. Org. Chem. 8/2023)

The main theme of the presented cover art is the so-called “A plate with an apple”, a well-known magical gadget from Russian fairy tales. The apple rolls around the plate and shows the future, which helps the heroes of fairy tales to make conscious choice and keep out of troubles. Similar to this magic plate, quantum-chemical calculations have provided experimental chemists with a short and expedient route to the desired result, i.e. to the synthesis of a library of the target pyrrolooxazines, sought-after building blocks and promising biologically active compounds.
