Factors That Influence Adherence Post-ACS: A Secondary Analysis of the TEXTMEDS Randomised Clinical Trial by Sex

Poor adherence following acute coronary syndrome (ACS) is a major issue affecting long-term patient outcomes. Factors affecting adherence are complex and there is distinction amongst men and women in terms of the predictors of adherence and follow-up. We aimed to identify sex differences in factors that predict or impede adherence after ACS.
