摘要

•Three-dimensional occupying ratio of OPLL and its' significance in assessment of spinal cord myelopathy were proposed.•MRI was done to determine the extent of spinal cord compression, which minimized the measurement error.•Ratios were used to assess the correlation between OPLL and JOA score, which avoided a multicollinearity problem.
