摘要
Thisreport presents an interdisciplinary approach usedin undergraduatelaboratory classes to bridge the gap between scientific advances, engineering efforts, and practical applications in daily life. Thefield of biointegrated electronics is highlighted as an excellentopportunity for building interdisciplinary learning models, leveragingexpertise from multiple research areas. Wearable glucose sensors arepresented as a promising application that requires knowledge of chemistry, materials science, electrical engineering, and mechanical engineering. The laboratory experiment module provides students with hands-on experiencein designing, fabricating, integrating, and testing wearable glucosesensors. This lab class serves as an example of how interdisciplinaryresearch can be integrated into undergraduate education and offersvalues, skills, and experiences for future careers.
