A Novel Control Scheme of Stable Electricity and High Efficiency Supply in SOFC-based DC Micro-grid.

In recent years, the solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC)-based direct current (DC) micro-grid is considered for the power supply worldwide, due to the advantages of the environmentally friendly and high energy conversion efficiency. However, the control scheme for improving the system efficiency and keeping the stable electricity is both the research priority. Thus, a novel control scheme of the stable electricity and high efficiency supply in the SOFC-based DC micro-grid is proposed in this paper. First, the optimal operating points (OOPs) is employed to maximize the system efficiency. Moreover, the average current control mode is adopted in the DC/DC boost converter for the stable electricity. The simulation results are shown to prove the superiority and effectiveness of the proposed control scheme, the SOFC system efficiency can achieve greater than 45%, and the DC electrical outputs can be well regulated to the set value and remain stable.
