摘要
Approximately 140 million women give birth each year worldwide, and women's perceptions of childbirth can be influenced in many ways. Traumatic childbirth perception is considered to be a woman's perception of the act of giving birth that occurs at any stage of the reproductive process, and it is a high incidence and harmful. The traumatic childbirth perception scale (TCPS) is helpful to improve the screening and identification of traumatic childbirths, and this study aims to translate it and evaluate its reliability and validity. This study followed the process of scale introduction and evaluation criteria, a modified version of the Brislin translation model to translate the scale. A total of 645 women from three populations were recruited to complete the questionnaire, which we evaluated for reliability and validity after cultural adaptation, including item analysis, test–retest analysis, Cronbach’s alpha coefficient, split-half reliability, content validity index, exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and criterion-related validity analysis, respectively. The results show that the Chinese version of TCPS has good reliability and validity, and can be used to determine the perceived level and severity of traumatic childbirth in women.
