A Single-layer Wideband Reflectarray Antenna with Novel Hybrid Elements

摘要
In this paper, a single-layer wideband reflectarray is proposed. The reflectarray consists of a horn feed antenna and novel hybrid elements. A frequency-insensitive phase curve over 360 degrees and high reflection coefficient amplitude is achieved in 18-26 GHz by adjusting multi-parameters. The simulated results show the antenna obtains a high gain of over 22.5 dBi and aperture efficiency of over 35% in 18-26 GHz. The reflectarray has a broad 3-dB bandwidth of over 36.3%. Moreover, the singer-layer antenna has a low profile, simple feed, and miniaturized size, making it easy to integrate with platforms and a good candidate for long-distance wireless communication systems.
