摘要
•Permanent magnet was located at the cooler-end outlet of the SPNCmL system.•The effect of magnetic field evaluated by dimensionless T and V distributions.•Higher temperature differences and thus heat transfer are obtained under EMF.•The increase in concentration of ferrofluid decreases Nu for both cases.•Considering natural convection intensity, Ri≫ 1 is obtained for all cases.
