Polarization Raman microscope based on channeled spectropolarimetry

•A polarization Raman microscope based on channeled spectropolarimetry has been developed.•The channeled polarization Raman microscope has the advantages of higher temporal resolution and no moving parts compared to conventional polarization Raman microscope.•Angle of linear polarization can be used to estimate the predominant molecular orientations of crystalline chains within samples with a uniaxial orientation distribution.•Degree of linear polarization can be used to differentiate samples with different molecular orientation distribution.
