摘要

While current gold standard clinical assessments can effectively determine when patients undergoing subcallosal cingulate deep brain stimulation (SCC DBS) reach stable recovery, they do not differentiate relapse from transient fluctuations in mood or emotional state, thereby impeding clinical decisions such as dose adjustment. To address the need for an objective measure that can distinguish the two scenarios, we identified a biomarker from SCC local field potential (LFP) and validated the marker in an independent cohort.
