摘要
Low intensity focused ultrasound (LIFU) is a promising noninvasive neuromodulation method for subcortical brain circuits in neuropsychiatric disorders. However, imaging evidence of LIFU target engagement remains elusive. Despite the success of acoustic radiation force impulse (ARFI) methods to measure LIFU- induced tissue displacement in animals, its translation to human is limited by the gradient hardware on most clinical MRI systems.
